My goal as a candidate is to make government in Belle Isle more open and inviting to our City's residents, because I believe that government should be both by and for the people. I believe in an accessible City government that invites residents to actively participate in the decision-making process. I believe in fiscal policy that prioritizes conservation of City funds for future emergencies. I believe in a City hiring process that is objective and based solely upon candidate qualifications. I believe in preservation and regular maintenance of our City's infrastructure and waterways. Most importantly, I believe that citizens have the right to know EVERYTHING about their City, including how it is being run and how their tax dollars are being spent.
